Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space

Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space

Most young couples have a dream of living in a large house throughout their lifetime. It isn’t easy to find a young couple that chooses to live in a tiny home. However, one young married couple calls a tiny 300-square foot house their beloved home. The house might be small, but it has been elegantly designed to grab the attention of many people.

A simple and comfy theme

Basically, Kelly and her husband Canaan blended each other’s taste and style to generalize the theme of the entire home. It features a bright theme with snow white walls, which is well balanced with the wood elements all around. The floor and the tabletop in the study/work area and cooking area are wooden.

Maximizing the tininess

You’d think that this house may not fit perfectly for two people, but Kelly and Canaan will prove you wrong. There is a living area, which features a cozy gray L-sofa set. A grayish rug is included to keep the feet warm and enhance the brightness of the space too. Also, there’s a large plasma TV on a simple but nice-looking cabinet.

Just next to the living area is the kitchen/study/work area. Here, one side is customized with a white faucet, gray cabinets, and a wooden countertop. On the other side is the working/study area which comes with a wooden tabletop, along with two bar-height stools.

The sleeping area, or lofted bedroom, in this case, is above the living area, and it is an all-white section that looks heavenly. It is painted white, and the beddings are white as well. However, there is a bookshelf that is on the extreme end to offer a nice study time when relaxing and also balance the whiteness.  Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 2 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 3 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 4 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 5 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 6 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 7 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 8 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 9 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 10 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 11 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 12 Transforming A Tiny Home Into A Livable Space 13

Mother Nature Dominance

One major advantage of a tiny home is that it is easy and cheap to keep the place well-lit. For this house, they have limited light fixtures, thanks to the windows placed around to allow natural light to flow in. If it gets dark, the light fixtures will take care of the house’ brightness.

Other than the natural light flowing in the house, there are also plants and flowers used in different sections. Some are placed at the study/work area, others are lined up the staircase, and the living area also features a green plant.

The house is small, but you can be sure of experiencing a nice welcoming ambiance whenever you are inside. There is a window opposite the bed, which offers an appealing view during the day. The blend of colors and themes has been met elegantly, and that makes this home more than just a tiny space.
