Rustic & Industrial Home With A Very Particular Design Aesthetic
American rustic homes are popping up, and their mix of both the old and new is creating a unique design aesthetic. This house in Lambertville certainly contains this mix and tells a story about the home. The living room, a focal point of the house, features a stone fireplace with pale brown walls and exposed beans, bringing out the rustic aspects of the room. The pallet coffee table and old-timey signs certainly contribute to the vintage nature. However, in this space, modern pieces make a statement as well. The orange lockers and leather couch as well as the mounted wine rack blend seamlessly into the existing decor. The dining room carries this theme with a reclaimed wooden table surrounded by tufted chenille chairs. The mix of formal chairs with an old farm table should be at odds, but fits into the space. Navy blue velvet curtains bring a splash of a pattern to the rest of the room which is done in warm, neutral tones.
