I was impressed when I spotted Casa Consuelo on HomeStories. This home takes on a Rococo style decor with various curves and asymmetry. Monochromatic, whimsical designs, mirrors, and romanticism influenced by Louie XV furnishings make this home simple but elegantly beautified. Chairs and sofas are chosen for comfort with more cushioning and sophisticated upholstery in more quaint areas like the bedroom. The undulating curves and comfortable seats promote intimacy, conversation, and coziness.

Space is used sparingly but beautifully. Fabric is draped gently and stylishly. Lace and natural fabrics are used throughout the space. Softening the scarcity of furnishings to give way to more space and expansiveness is key to this home’s ornamentation. Furniture is minutely gilded complementing textured wallpaper in ecru that charmingly complements the piece-by-piece stonewall. It’s a stunning contrast that blends perfectly.

Most kitchens in homes aren’t as exquisitely adorned as this one. It has a rustic type ambiance with stronger materials like metals softened by vibrant white and natural light. It’s more akin to an intimate café.

White floors and walls always make a home appear more spacious. With piercing white in each room, this home manages to combine Shabby Chic furnishings with distressed finishes on certain doors and moldings. Suspended chandeliers and sconce lighting fit perfectly. It’s the best way to stay within the theme of the home while adding the idea amount of lighting to each room.

An armoire filled with delicate porcelain dishes, dainty accents like decorative jars, and a distressed clothing stand, together with various shades and patterns on decorative boxes keeps the atmosphere in the home soothing. It’s a livable space with an aloofness about it. It’s welcoming but staid, easy living but meticulous. It’s a contrast between an elegant and casual lifestyle.

One of a kind vintage furniture style pieces spell exceptional when viewing each room in this spectacular home. Chic bedding, home furnishings and accessories are mixed together with differing styles that are all similar but distinctive in their own right. The bathroom appears more like a boudoir the skirted console space in the bedroom is very feminine as is the soft accents in each room.

There’s even a bit of baroque stylishness to this home’s furnishings. Though this style of décor is usually more masculine, it has a gentleness that works well in femininely decorated settings. The exterior is just as dazzling as the interior. A stunning greenery with an outside patio for dining completes the marvelous flow the décor in this home produces. Shabby Chic outdoor furniture with soft cushions on a handsomely laid deck radiates a cheerful scene from a home filled with distinctiveness, beauty, and love.
