Explore The Interiors Of This Swedish Sanctum
Today we view a beautiful 88 sq mt haven set in the heart of Sweden. A 3 roomed paradise, it can only be described as a quaint little abode just about ready to make a beautiful home for its lucky owner.
The living area of this delightful house adorns soothing shades of grey and white. These two colors by themselves are powerful enough but when put in play with the sunlight, their contrast creates outstanding magic. An abundance of natural light streaming in through the windows accentuates very delicately every aspect of the room.
Elements such as the hanging bulbs instead of a chandelier, pieces of minimalist art adorning the walls, a voguish center table all scream urban chic but never do they get overbearing as the balance is creatively maintained by more homely and cozy pieces of furniture like the over sized comfy cushions, the friendly picnic style kitchen table and not to forget, the snug and warm rugs placed on the benches.
As one makes way into kitchen/ dining area, the flow of light gets brighter. It is fueled by the white cabinets that complement the natural light around the house. This look brings about a very inviting appeal, which justifies the purpose of a kitchen. Along with this, a calculated throw in of some classic American pop-art adds the element of joy that every dining area should have.
When we move onto the bedroom, it is noticeable that the color theme carries itself throughout the house. A very relaxing and satisfying display of a dark grey top rug on the bed, symbolizes the comfort of every bedroom . This is also represented by the cozy seating arrangement present in the corner. The bedroom holds comfort but also keeps intact the feel of the contemporary decor which can be observed from the sleek iron lamp shade and even more tasteful minimalist art. However, amidst all of this the design leaves enough room for breathing as well as self expression.
The bathroom done minimally in a combination of wood and white is linearly expressive while allowing the colors to serve the purpose of making the look spacious and elegant.
However, the one place that takes the cake in this house is the balcony. Painted beautifully in mud orange which when contrasts with the stark white furniture creates an earthy but at the same time a light atmosphere. The mini potted plants add to the breezy expression but what really gets the area going is the view that comes with it. A glance outward has the open sky and sea, their hue mixed together in the twilight when streams into this open space must be a precious vision to hold making it a special nonetheless a very beautiful spot.
