Edgy and Classy Family Living
This apartment has the best of both worlds — it combines an air of simplicity and freshness with a wealth of rich, intricate details that give this space energy.
The first feature is accomplished through the usage of simple lines and blocks of pastel colors. The beautiful upstairs bedroom is separated from the lower living space by a simple glass wall with black metal framing. The walls are nude, deep grey or baby blue and accentuated with a few asymmetrical blocks of pastel-colored paint. Furniture fits into this color palette as well, with a deep grey couch in the living area and baby blue counters making the kitchen a light and playful space.
On the other hand, an interplay of different textures makes the different rooms unique and vibrant. The kitchen features white tiles on one wall, tricolored hexagonal tiles on the floor, and combines them visually with wood railing on the ceiling. To boot, a brick wall separates the kitchen from the living space. The placement of different materials might appear chaotic in another type of space, but renders this apartment composed, yet edgy.
Designed by Shoko Design, one of the best emerging Eastern European interior design teams, this apartment is an ideal living space for a family looking for a classy but contemporary feel for their new apartment.
