Chrissy McDonald is a renowned home-interior designer, and founder of the Harlowe James design firm based in California. Her stunning home in Sausalito, CA features a calm and serene living-space with white décor on the walls and other items including the flower vase placed next to the window, and curtains which are also white. As for the sofa, it’s light grey in color with matching cushions and a white cushion at the center with black square dots to add more versatility. The sofa is also placed right next to the window, which allows plenty of sunlight to enter the room and add extra vibrance.
As for the corridor leading to the main door, it has a rustic-style wooden floor with a light gray and brown patterned carpet placed on top and stretching right to the edge of the door, albeit with a small space left between them. The corridor walls are also white plus there’s a large round mirror on the left side of the wall, just above a set of hangers where two baskets are balancing from. On the opposite side, there’s a socket just above the wooden support frame and another one at the bottom corner next to the door.
The door itself is charcoal gray in color with 3 knobs on its right side, the top one has a black shade while the center is gold and the bottom silver. All of these knobs are also in different design. Towards the outside on the veranda, there are two white cylindrical vases with flowers growing from them. The first vase is placed on the left just a short distance from the door, and has little orange flowers propping out of it, whereas the right-side vase consists of plants with broader leaves and is placed on the first stairway leading down to the ground. Overall, the house has a cool ambiance thanks in part to the white decorative theme.
