While the exterior of a home might contribute a lot to the curb appeal, the interior design is equally important to the overall value of the home. Home value matters aside. Many people design their homes so as to make them comfortable enough for themselves. Just like this home; it has been designed to be as homey as it can be. The house has a rustic theme, but the owners have blended in some aspects to make it modern and classy.
To start with, the walls are painted white and dark-gray. The living room walls are white, while the kitchen and other areas have a perfect dark-gray/white combination. The walls match perfectly with the wood and ceramic tiles, though rugs and carpets are not used.
At the entryway, there is a special corner that is filled with a collection of exotic characters. An animal’s skull is hung on the wall over a wooden table and a traditional 3-stand stool. Candles are also used, and the large one is placed on a customized stand. A table lamp is on a white cabinet, and there’s also a specific portrait leaning on the wall.
When it comes to the furniture, clearly the owners are fans of black and gray colors. The living room has a set of cozy dark-gray couches that balance the whiteness of the wall. Also, there are two lampshades, and a wooden/metallic table with a plant vase on it.
The kitchen is elegantly designed, with a kitchen island that has white drawers, and a faucet at the top. It also serves as an eating spot since countertop is large enough.
The owners of this house enjoy the rustic ambiance; they have a dining set in the backyard, and a barbecue grill is also seen in the backyard. The house is encircled by a live fence, which shows the privacy level and the owners’ love for nature. Natural light flows all over the house, and they also use plenty of candles. It is quite an appealing house that looks and feels super comfortable.
