This Malibu Home Combines Elements of Balinese Unauthentic Tuscan and Classic Georgian styles

Malibu Home Combacines different styles

This beautiful Malibu home combines elements of Balinese, unauthentic Tuscan and classic Georgian styles. Designed by Vanessa Alexander, it has extra-large windows and doors that give you a spectacular view to the surrounding land, and Pacific Ocean.

During renovations, certain highlights were added to make the interior more amicable. The walls were taken down to make room for new skylights, plus the floor plan was also dramatically changed.

The living-room is spacious with bright white walls that add a feeling of serenity, there are also two comfortable sofas facing each other and sitting next to the fireplace. This fireplace can be used to provide warmth during winter, which is a great thing if you’ll be spending your time indoors.

Moreover, there’s a huge flower-vase next to the window on the left side of the room, this plant not only adds more greenery to the living room but also helps in improving fresh air.

You will also be impressed by the classic chandelier sitting on top of the roof, it’s a simple brown structure with two protrusions running from the opposite ends, and a mini extension attached to one of the protrusions with a transparent bulb at the tip.

Apart from providing beauty, this chandelier also functions as the room’s lighting system and has a total of 5 bulbs attached to it. The structure is thin in design with relatively sharp edges that make it resemble a piece of twig or branch attached to the ceiling.

Furthermore, next to the door leading to the veranda there’s a simple rustic table that resembles one gotten from the middle ages. This rectangular table has four long legs with each pair extending from the opposite sides, there’s also a cross-shaped structure beneath the table that offers extra support.

On top of the table there are two white vases on one corner, and another oval one on the opposite side. These two sets are separated by another smaller vase placed at the middle. The table sits next to a medium sized well-nurtured tree supported in a black container, and a clear mirror placed directly above it that reflects the tree’s image.

The door leading outside is also made of glass mostly, with only its surrounding frame and a structure running in the middle consisting of wood. Moreover, directly on its right side there’s a wall-lantern placed above with a light brown support structure that perfectly blends with the door frame.
