Wood has a way of taking any type of décor and bringing it down to earth whether the décor is art-deco, traditional, rustic, country, or modern. This loft radiates earthiness though it has modern furnishings with dashes of color. The ancient red brick walls, large windows, arched bridges, open space factory design is visually pleasing. The loft is organized with private and open areas that beautifully carve out the space.
This loft is fun, happy, and full of life. It has its own unique charm and originality. The various textures and hues of wood work beautifully with the exposed brick. The various metal, leather, and artistic artifacts are brilliantly placed together to create an entertaining atmosphere similar to an amusement park placed in an environment built for relaxation and living.
The aesthetics were purposely created to appear rough and unfinished. The natural light brightens up an already jovial atmosphere, and built in areas seem to appear out of nowhere. For example, behind the part glass and wooden plank that separates the space is a completely brick walled bedroom. Wood blocks and crates are used as a support for the bed, studio wall lights work perfectly for low sunlit days and dark nights, while playful art pieces decorate the rest of the room. Even the structural works of art made from piping seems like an actual functioning piece of construction rather than strictly for amusement.
The stairs lead to a small gallery equipped with storage chests and works of art. It’s an unusual space carved out to bring even more height to the high ceilings and huge area.
There is something interesting in every corner of this loft from the floor to the ceiling. The furnishings are eccentric and comfortable simultaneously. For instance, the leather sofa is built into the wood frame. The accent chairs are designed from silvery metal tubing artistically shaped with leather cushioning for comfort. Small items line the windowsill, walls, speakers, floor, and tables. This loft is a kid’s area for grown-ups. It seems that there is always something to play with and grab your attention.
Even the eating area merges easily with the space. It’s as if it doesn’t exist! But yet, it’s fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, eating table, and chairs. Suspended studio lights give the space a high-tech appearance. It’s kind of both high-tech and down-to-earth.
This loft is certainly a livable, comfortable space. It’s as if you can place anything anywhere and it works! It’s as if the space created itself and everything else worked around it. It’s as stunning show of artistic genius coupled with relaxation and comfort.
