The cat den is the biggest surprise of the house. Located next to the dining room and near the windows, it has been created specially for the cats to have a place of their own. The big fluffy pillows serve them well throughout the day and add to the appeal of the vintage industrial look of the house.
That cat entrance that goes through the wall is a highly creative trick. The arched door nicely matches the other wooden structures used for plants and pictures. Here and there you can see brightly colored items that stand out such as the red chair, the intense blue background of the shelves in the bedroom or the big black and white pillow. The pink minimalist dressing room is the only room that doesn’t stick to the brick pattern of the walls and goes for something conventional.
The large windows allow a lot of natural light to brighten up the rooms. But there are also many lighting fixtures on the ceiling that provide light in all corners of the house, apart from the bedroom that only includes two reading lamps.
This interior design might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it sure serves well for the artists and their cats.
