House That Combines Art Usability and Style

Boudouris' house usability art

Architect Harris Boudouris’ house combines art, usability and style. The house located in Athens, Greece designed by the owner is like a child’s drawing, a box that made by an imaginative kid by a box of Lego. The large sofa in the living room is by French firm Roche Bobois. The furniture (all white) are absolutely necessary. The whole house is full of artwork by famous Greek artists, (TAKIS, PAUL, Kostis Georgiou, CHRYSSA, SOPHIA VARI etc.) Simplicity of the space hides too much work behind it. The perfectly finished marble (from LACOMAR-PISANI) is used throughout the home. The windows open and close electrically and automatically. In case of rain, close themselves simply by using sensors. The north side is completely closed, but with too much light because of the huge openings on the other sides.
