Home That Gives Off The Feeling Of Calmness While Retaining an Elegant Look
When you first walk into this house owned and designed by Louise Bradley, you wouldn’t think that it’s surrounded by other houses. Instead, you would think you are on some privately owned land. In reality, the home is in a neighborhood and close to the city. The home is very well put together. It gives off the feeling of calmness while retaining a modern and elegant look.
Drawing Room
Everyone likes to lay down and watch some tv from time to time. Between the couch and the wall-mounted flat-screen tv, is two chairs and a small table. There’s no better room in the house for enjoying some quality supper and indulging in a good movie.
Exterior
Nothing makes you feel far away from the city like being surrounded by grass and plants. That’s the feeling the exterior gives you. Having a comfortable wooden bench along with the numerous amount of plants can make almost anyone feel like they are connecting with nature.
In a way, the exterior of the home is the most relaxing part. It’s just you, plants, and the blue sky. This can also make the exterior an ideal place to take a nap. No need to go inside.

Kitchen-Dinning
Arguably where most socializing will take place, the kitchen has been remodeled to give a relaxed social setting despite it being located in the basement.
Before entering the kitchen, you are greeted by a beautiful chandelier. Upon entering, you will notice that the table is made of reclaimed oak and its long length makes it possible to have dinner with an entire group of friends. This makes the kitchen a great place to hang out during a party.
Guest Bathroom
Just next to the bathtub and right behind the sink, a window provides a view of the neighboring homes. Just below the sink, there is a space to place towels. This subtle design makes it to where the towels are easily accessible but not blocking any view.
Guest Bedroom
Following the same color scheme as the rest of the house, the guest bedroom has white walls with dark-colored furniture, The bedroom has a mirror on the adjacent wall and a nearby bathroom.
Finally, the bronze four-poster bed brings everything in the room together.
