An Exquisite Artistic Home
Wing-backed chairs date back a few centuries. In fact, this elegant styled settee is actually an easy chair or club-chair with a high-back and wings. These wings envelope the back of the chair extending down to the arm rest. However, this may not always be the case. Today, wing-back chairs come in an array of materials and styles; nonetheless, the basic “wing-backed” style is always present. The version of the wing-backed chair obvious in this home is of the traditional design placed in a modern setting. The velvet fabric is soft and luxurious. In fact, it’s somewhat playful surrounded by an art deco type décor and fun accent pieces.
The entire loft space by A+Z Design Studio, is adorned with casual furnishings. It’s laid back and inviting. There is certainly a structure to the design of the space, but it’s nonchalant with easy throw pillows, cushy sofa, and a large wood dining table with mix-matched chairs. Long theatrical drapes give the room a stage like appearance. It’s as if the area is a backdrop for a Broadway play. It’s lights, camera, action for this distinctively styled home.
The kitchen is progressive. It’s smart and functional. Stainless steel appliances always upgrades a kitchen’s décor. It’s one of the modernistic additions you can install when upgrading your kitchen that is sure to pay dividends. The red lacquer wall is in-sync with the adjacent pewter hued stone wall. The stainless steel island and black lacquer refrigerator adds the “wow” factor. Not only is it brilliant, it adds a soft brilliance to the milieu.
The casual living room area is warm and contemporary with a “that’s life” aura. It’s not fussy but definitely methodized. The oversized spotlight, rocking chair, shabby-chic red metal chairs, thick rug, asymmetric sculpture and trendy sofa, is all you need to make a living room area super chic and mellow.
The remainder of the home personifies the casual theme throughout. For example, the bathroom tiles have an ethnic flair swathed in solid hues intricately woven together that looks like a stunning work of art. The lacquered bathtub balanced with gold metal rods set in a mirrored enclave takes one back to the days of Rome when bathing was a luxury that lasted for hours. A block of paned windows brings in natural light. The bathroom is very much a dazzling masterpiece that you never tire of.
The bedroom is draped in plush fabrics. The lovely eggshell color is easy. It’s somewhat monochromatic but fanciful. In one corner is a splash of color with a red accent chair. The study upstairs is small and delightful. It’s a small getaway in a home that is filled with wonder, practicality, and exquisite artistry.
