Imagine spending the holiday in a country house, an 1846 piece of rustic elegance to be precise, located right at the heart of New England. Everything is perfectly arranged in Breanne’s home and the interior is an oasis of imaginations and creativity. As you marvel at the wall art in the kitchen you’re ushered in to the living room which is in itself a classic example of fusion of modern and classic ideas. Without much fuss, let me take you on a tour of this home.
The tour starts
To usher you in to the house is a farmers porch that runs down the side of the house leading you straight to the main entrance at the kitchen. As you admire the amazing paint-work done by the legendary Benjamin Moore you are ushered in to a lovely room which is home to nice flowers, a fruit bowl, pinecones, brush tree and faux snow.

To the living room
To make your way to the living room you’ll pass through the dining room which in my opinion is where simplicity meets creativity. The dining table is simple but with an ancient touch of beauty and awesomeness. The living room flows openly; just next to the dining room (white columns separate the two rooms). The interior designer has used cremes and whites to retain a soft glow in the living room. The adorable antler pillow, mercury glass, laid-back coffee table, hurricane vase, an antler and fresh cedar make this room just the perfect place for the whole family to be during Christmas.
And oh! Not forgetting the Christmas tree, which is a tower of mercury glass ornaments blended with champagne and silver colored ornaments. What an awe-inspiring sight!
And there’s a lot more
What better way to end our virtual tour of the house than by spending a few minutes admiring the adorable black wall ledges. They are pretty simple in design with only a few touches here and there to add some fresh greenery. These handsome pieces of wall decor can be used for a variety of purposes – storing books, photographs or simply for showcasing knickknacks and collectibles.
Finally:
In a time when our home becomes our refuge, a well thought-out interior design can be an invaluable asset to help you create the perfect space for your needs. I hope that this description has given you an idea or two for the big day ahead. Cheers!
Hi there,
Although the Christmas season is far off I loved your home tour and will keep some ideas tucked away. I was wondering if you’d share where you got your proverbs sign–I love it!
Thanks
