100+ Christmas Table Decoration Ideas
Since it’s the most wonderful time of the year, don’t you want your home to reflect some holiday cheer? Winter is creeping up on us and before we know it, the holiday season is going to be in full swing. There are plenty of ways for you to add a festive interior spice to your home with Christmas table decorations.
Candy Cane
This peppermint delight is a staple in Christmas tradition. Why not incorporate this treat into your table decorations to give your house a festive twist? The main thing to focus on when decorating your table with this style is the color scheme.
As, a matter of fact, all you really have to do is follow an even red and white color distribution to establish a holiday feel. For this reason, the candy cane theme is extremely easy and fun to work with. Try finding a red table cloth and napkins that are striped like a candy cane. It is relatively easy to find plastic cutlery and mix up red and white utensils. You can also buy a bunch of candy canes and place them next to the cutlery as if they were a tool for eating.
Purchase some thin red and white garland and fasten it to the edge and middle of the table with safety pins. Incorporating candles and round ornaments on the table can add a nice finishing touch as long as you stay true to the color scheme. When it comes to holiday table settings, it doesn’t get much easier than this!
A Winter Forest
This theme is one of the easiest and fun holiday table settings to work with. As you are decorating the table, imagine a lush winter forest populated with beautiful green trees and happy critters.
For starters, lay down a white table cloth to look like a base of snow. For this table design you can make all sorts of crafts to add to the center of your table. It should be fairly simple to find strips of fake tree needles and plastic pinecones online or at the nearest craft store. Lay a strip of this down the middle of the table, weaving in between tall green and brown candles.
When it comes to napkins and place mats, try sticking to dark green and brown colors to give off a woodsy feel. As a final touch, you can purchase a small 1 foot christmas tree for under $20 dollars to place in the middle of your table. Cut some small dove shapes out of colored paper and hang them from the branches to give the tree a natural outdoorsy look.
These are just some basic themes to start your table decorating with. They are extremely customizable and only limited to your own imagination! Can you think of any extra crafts and ideas to add to these themes? Share your ideas and before you know it, your table could look like it was imported straight from the north pole!
