A noteworthy hue that is full of optimism is yellow. Placing this dynamic color in your home takes panache. Strangely enough, though yellow is not usually associated with courage, when it comes to interior design all the rules change! Psychologically, yellow triggers memory, invigorates the nervous system, and enhances creativity and communication.

Whether you use yellow as an accent color, like in this beautifully designed apartment, or as the center of attention, such as a huge yellow sofa, this color will work in any room in your home. In this contemporary styled apartment, yellow is cleverly used in the living room area. Accent pillows and geometrically designed fabrics with hints of mustard-yellow, work well to bring the space alive. Moreover, gray is the driving force and balances well with the mustard shade, which is not unusual. The two shades compliment each other beautifully.
