Souraya Hassan is an interior designer, interior photographer, and photo/event stylist. In which order her talents should be listed may is of little importance. However, what is apparent is that she has good taste!
Ms. Hassan makes no secret of her admiration for exquisiteness and inspirational images. It’s also no secret that her love of color rests with intense pastels fused with neutral shades and luminous white.
Establishing an interior design company in 2009 called “Binti Home,” Souraya graduated from Artemis Styling Academy located in Amsterdam. Continuing as a freelancer on numerous ventures as an event stylist and interior design, and lending her expertise for design to homeowners, this talented entrepreneur has always followed the beat of her own drummer.
Her modus operandi is to craft color palettes, incorporate gorgeous materials, and top it off with a lot of style. Her individual joyfulness emanates from a deeply felt view and conceptualization of color, material, and style, which are very much reflected in her own home.
In her private home, Souraya showcases an inviting ambiance. The open space living room area is wonderfully harmonized with color, shapes, and textures. Attractive pastels adorn the area paired with warm neutrals against a white backdrop. A pastel lime-green accent wall enlivens the space and harmonizes the various furnishings and accent pieces. Two divergent spaces have been merged from the living room area. One section is the sitting area and the other is the dining area. The concept is simple, efficient, and inspiring.
Her private workspace is radiant with natural light. It’s a pristine space that reveals not only Souraya’s work environment, but how orderly she is! The space is personable, fresh, and highly functional.

In addition, the long table designed from oak wood bounces off the gray wall infused in a carved space for easy maneuvering.
Foliage is another great component of Ms. Hassan’s interior design inspiration. Gorgeous greenery adorns various spaces while numerous textures blend to make simulated scenes appear natural.
The bedroom has a comfy setting, designed around a stark white setting. Soft hues are used to maintain a restful ambiance. Souraya states that “she prefers simple linens in her bedroom with the diversity of a plaid cover.” She also feels that it makes it easy to keep the space looking good!
All and all, Ms. Hassan has a deep connection with beautiful interiors. She transfers this creative talent into private homes and businesses. In fact, she plans on increasing her influence on the interior design aspect of businesses. Her dream is to design a hotel one day. From what we can see here, she’s well on her way to interior design super-stardom, whether it’s enhancing someone’s private abode or lending her talents to creating an inspiring corporate environment. It’s something many “in the know” will look forward to viewing.
