Cave House in Tuscia, Italy
Costumes designer Carolina Olcese’s house located in Tuscia, Italy designed by Mono Architecture. The house is a cave in the tuff which in the Middle Ages was superimposed on a stone building.  In the restoration as first steps were taken to consolidate the cave, which actually supports the entire complex. straight lines add a modern touch to the cave. Love these built benches on either side of fireplace.
