A rustic cabin in Montana’s prestigious Yellowstone Club excels at environmental responsibility. Â Interior designer Erika Jennings of Carole Sisson Designs re-used many furnishings the owners already possessed, and edited spaces to maintain an elegant, livable space.
This cabin is actually one large great room, with a private master suite and a sleeping loft for the kids. Too manyartifacts and fussy elements would overpower the space. I wanted to leave room for the family to actually live, to put their boots or books down.
I absolutely love it including the location (land)! Although I would have used a rustic knotty hickory or knotty alder cabinets in the kitchen. But I’d still live there if I could.
