DECORATING IDEAS Easter Decorations
60 Easter Table Decorations
There are few festivals that capture the spirit of a season (and a religion) like Easter does. Here are some tips and ideas on Easter table decorations you can use for exceptional decor that will please your guests. They are easy, others less predictable but all of them serve a single purpose. That is to create the best table decoration you have ever done during Easter.
Tips for Easter table decorations
This year, follow some of these approved decorating ideas. They will definitely create the perfect atmosphere as all your favourite people are gathered around Easter table.
1. Eggs
Of course, what’s Easter without the eggs! Did you know that in Christianity, eggs symbolize the empty tomb of Christ? Start dipping those hard-boiled eggs into watercolors, food coloring or the ever-popular dye pellets. Of course, while keeping in mind that the more color variation, the better.
When decorating your table with them, you can place them in mini bird nests along with flowers for a beautiful touch. Or you can simply place one on each napkin. If you want elegance, go with egg holders (which you can even make yourself).
2. Fresh green
Bouquets of flowers are a must for any table celebrating Easter. Make sure you accentuate the greenness of the stems of these flowers, as you want to reflect the freshness of Spring itself! Yellow, cream, or white flowers capture the bliss of the warmer seasons. Don’t forget that grassy plants can also create a desired effect. A mini patch of grass with Easter eggs placed on it for a centerpiece will be like bringing the essence of Spring right into the home.
3. Tree of eggs
If you want to make the most of your colorful eggs, opt for a rustic-styled egg stand that resembles a Christmas tree. That way you can have all eggs together in one batch while keeping it simple. Layered cake plates are also a brilliant technique. Of course, you can also find branches from the yard and hang the eggs from them in a vase.
4. Baskets
The baskets aren’t just for spring picnics and bringing home the scavenged eggs. You can use them as table decorations as well. Get light colored baskets (white looks great!) and lay some light green or pastel-toned wrapping paper, stuffing, or even moss from your garden. You can choose to place mini appetizer bowls and plates in there to present your chocolate or other snacking delights. Or you can decorate the basket with lush flowers and decorated eggs. The choice is up to you.
5. Colors
On a side note, here is a tip. It’s hard not to naturally decorate your table with pastel colors during the springtime, but for those of us who need that extra push, here it is: pick soft or colorful tones for your plates, tablecloth, center piece, and napkins. If you can’t have a picnic outside in the sunshine, let the warmth come to your table in the form of colors! Soft greens most certainly add a sense of youthful freshness, while yellows, pinks, blues and lavenders are great additions as well. In fact, all colors can be lovely as long as they’re of a pastel tone.

I love the pastels used in the tablescapes. Almost reminds me of Alice in Wonderland. These could probably just be tweaked a tiny bit to be an Alice themed party!! Great post. Thanks.
