Lighting Floating Buddha by real 23k gold

The Floating Buddha serenely floats on a bed of light – an illusion created by invisible acrylic rods that sit on top of an inverted base covered in 23k gold leaf. Two lights provide the dramatic lighting effects: one, pointing at the bottom of the Buddha which is also gold-leafed and lacquered as is the whole Buddha; the other pointing down onto an internal golden pyramid, disburses its light through the hand-hammered holes in the metal box.
