There’s no denying that there’s nothing as charming, cozy and warmth-stimulating as a beautifully designed fireplace in bedroom. The burning low embers from such a fireplace have a tendency of culminating with the plush, romantic atmosphere of a bedroom and, in effect, evoking deep feelings of luxury, indulgence, and classical sophistication. Combine that with the fast approaching chilly weather (thanks to the ebbing fall and the onset of the winter) and you have yourself the perfect getaway after a hectic day in school or at work.So without further adue let’s see some bedroom fireplace design ideas for inspiration.
What about fireplace in bedroom?
But come to think, it wasn’t so long ago when fireplaces were a simple reserve for living/family rooms and traditional kitchens. Now, it’s fashionable and even tasteful to add a well-placed fireplace to your existing bedroom decor – even for man caves and bachelorette pads. These really make for great bedroom ideas you need to consider!

However, in as much as a fireplace can be an enticing addition especially for those cuddling and lovemaking sessions, it can make the room look a bit bare ( or even disheveled ) when it is left unattended or unused for a long time. Fortunately, you can bridge this gap by introducing simple decorations above the fireplace in bedroom that easily match with the existing bedroom decor. Such include candles on classical mantels, a piece of art, e.g., an African or Indian painting, etc. But remember one thing regardless of what you choose to decorate or enhance the overall look of your fireplace. Strive for symmetry or otherwise the place will look cluttered or disorderly!

Alternatively, you can use the space above the mantel to place your mirror ( particularly for the ladies ) or a sleek flat screen LED/plasma TV for those of us who really want to stand out from the crowd. Other than that, fresh flowers in porcelain vases can also be used to bring out that minimalistic, vogue aura. Just make sure you remember to replace them after every two days or so.

Despite the above bedroom fireplace design ideas, we can all agree that a fireplace is not complete without the fire itself. At this juncture, the kind of fuel you choose to use depends on many factors. The most significant is personal preference. But from experience, there is nothing more epic as having one or two smoldering logs in the fireplace. Speciafically against the backdrop soft soul music, warm sheets, and cozy pillows. And who knows, it might be just what you need to reignite that long lost spark between you and your partner. That said, let us know in the comment section below on how best a fireplace in bedroom can complement your existing decor.
