Light Transmitting Veneered Panels by Jagorta

Nikolett Sutus from Jagorta sent me photos of their new innovation: the light transmitting veneered panels.

It is a wood veneer panel that transmits light. The light transmission of the material is even, on the whole surface of the panel. When lit the veneer structure creates beautiful and natural patterns on the surface.

For Jagorta, light transmission does not mean a wood surface that illuminates like a lamp.
Basically, with LED technology the backlit panel gives an innovative presence to the veneered surface by highlighting the natural characteristic on the front surface of the veneers.

Our company was established only a few years ago, when two very talented carpenters invented this new technology that resulted in this new, exciting and wonderful product.

Jagorta panel consists of select veneers such as cherry, maple, or oak mounted to a translucent core with a specially developed adhesive.
