If you are going for modern elegance, metal legs are a nice touch, while if you’d still like something a little more modest the good old wooden legs are perfect.

Cream colors such as off white, tan, sand and pastels are all rich hues that add warmth to your living room while allowing statement pieces to speak their part. Invest in creme couches and carpets, and try painting the walls and ceilings with such hues as well, to create an ambiance of elegance that is just as attractive in the evenings as during the day.
4. Chandelier
If you want raw elegance, there’s only one way to get it—a chandelier! Of course, don’t go overboard with the size of these light fixtures; make sure your chandeliers are appropriate to the size of your living room. Also make sure they look just as good when they’re off as when they are turned on, and notice the accent colors. Stay away from harsh colors such as black unless it’s a theme-color for the rest of your living room. 5. Flowers
