Industrial Chic Apartment With an Inviting Appeal

Industrial Chic Apartment With an Inviting Appeal

One of the chicest ways to achieve an industrial look in a dwelling is by making concrete appear practical and warm. Well, this apartment manages to pull if off with aplomb. Concrete floors and walls complemented by stainless steel appliances, multi-hued metal highlights, and strategically place foliage is a fantastic mixture of cool design with warm appeal.

Recent improvements in concrete technology have made it a practical and usable element in homes. What’s more, concrete is like a blank canvass, you can go in any direction you please, and this dwelling manages to reveal the infinite possibilities.

Starting with the kitchen. The décor is interestingly amalgamated with bold hues, pine wood drawers for storage space, stainless steel appliances, and an eating area that’s sparsely furnished but sensible and inviting. In addition, easy mobility is key with a rolling staircase, easy outdoor accessibility, and French windows. Arched fashioned glass doors allow the entrance of natural light while balancing the use of the space for quick access to the outside terrace.

There’s an element of a geometrical concept due to the straight lines and confined shapes; however, they are softened by cushioned seating and soft tones with hints of bold color. Everything is arranged with the least amount of embellishments, while remaining functional, keeping very much in line with Feng Shui principles.

A unique play on shapes and natural textures is at play in most of the rooms. For example, in one of the bathrooms a mobile unshaped stone serves as a sink, while a stainless steel door and glass encircled cubicle acts as a water closet.
This multi-floor dwelling is unusual not purely because of the industrialized setting, but it actually takes the sleeping areas and gives them a cordiality and sophistication simultaneously.

The outside accommodation is enchanting. A beautifully laid stone floor bounces off the exterior brick siding. The subdued lighting creates an affable ambiance.

An optical illusion of infinite space is easily achieved with long pieces of furniture like the dining table and chaise lounge styled living room furnishings. There’s plenty of creativity tempered with traditional elements without conforming to one ideal. The ambiance is delicate and modest. Anyone could feel at home in this space, due to it’s leisure design and sophisticated allure.

There’s certainly a green thumb and exotic element running throughout the theme of this home as well. Huge banana and bamboo plants reveal the care taken into such a laid back decorated home. High ceilings with exposed beams and piping are not a distraction, but adds to the distinctive appeal of the apartment’s interior and completes the industrialized vibe.

Neatly tucked away home office space, a sunken bathtub, suspended light fixtures, and transparent ceilings, makes this dwelling the perfect place to live, work, and play. It’s extraordinary!

I hope they have a lot of brakes..all those wheels would drive me mad. The bed looks uncomfortable being a thin layer, as do the sofas, all on an excess of preposterous pallets.
