A project of scandinavian loft apartment in the center of Prague by Denis Krasikov.
A noteworthy hue that is full of optimism is yellow. Placing this dynamic color in your home takes panache. Strangely enough, though yellow is not usually associated with courage, when it comes to interior design all the rules change! Psychologically, yellow triggers memory, invigorates the nervous system, and enhances creativity and communication.
Whether you use yellow as an accent color, like in this beautifully designed apartment, or as the center of attention, such as a huge yellow sofa, this color will work in any room in your home. In this contemporary styled apartment, yellow is cleverly used in the living room area. Accent pillows and geometrically designed fabrics with hints of mustard-yellow, work well to bring the space alive. Moreover, gray is the driving force and balances well with the mustard shade, which is not unusual. The two shades compliment each other beautifully. Gray partnered with any shade of yellow whether mustard-yellow, egg-yolk yellow, sunshine yellow, or canary-yellow is invariably an idea match.
The patterned accent rug is a unique addition. The interesting shade of turquoise is another hue that works well with gray. Pieced together in this modernistic styled setting, black accents, and medium shade hardwood flooring and furnishings, creates a setting that is facile and beckoning.
The space is carved up into various niches of comfort and functionality. For example, a small seating area is placed inadvertently near a white exposed brick wall and continues to carry the theme of mustard, gray, and black. The white walls provide a progressive backdrop and balances out the large space. A high white ceiling, exposed beams, and eclectic suspended lighting gives the atmosphere a type of movie set ambiance. It’s well contrived and designed with a sublime demeanor.
A straightforward staircase leads to a loft space used as a small cozy bedroom with innovative hanging space for clothing. The high ceiling in this apartment space is extremely convenient as it makes it easier to add additional layers. This is why the loft space fits so effortlessly. It’s almost invisible and appears natural as if nothing else could possible suit the identical space!
The apartment design takes on the ultimate in striking floor design with the black-and-white tiled floor in the bathroom area. Matched with a matted black stand alone bath tub, white glazed tiles, and black and white accents and fixtures, the style is absolutely gorgeous.
This home is simple but extraordinary. The interior design is quiet, muted, almost invisible but it makes a clear statement. There’s a feel good ambiance that not only resonates throughout the layout, but incorporates daring concepts that radiates even though the colors used though they are subtle and individualistic. It’s not a place of spontaneous arrangements. It’s a well calculated subtle decor that is welcoming, ingenious, and magnific.
