We’ve seen many renovated farmhouses but this amazing house in village Empordà, Spain is new and has been built as a XIX century farmhouse. The owners wanted a house as before, using traditional techniques and materials recovered, built a farmhouse straight out of the nineteenth century. An ode to the past!
On the outside, got stone walls recovered with lime and mulch front porch supported by beams old trunks, outdoor stairway is vaulted and devised a pool like a tank irrigation, which together with carob, olive and planted some native hackberry helped blur the boundaries plot. “This result is obvious: just as a farmhouse in the area.
